Elena Kvitchenko Cockerell

From St. Petersburg Russia

 

1987 World Universaide Pairs Champion, 1987-88-89 USSR National Bronze Medalist, USSR World Team, World Professional Bronze Medalist, 25 years skating/teaching experience, 6 years Star of Russian All Stars/Ice Capades performed the role of Cinderella, 1990 Graduate of The Physical Culture of Sport with a concentration in Figure Skating from the Leningrad Sports Institute. Jr. Olympic Coach 1997-98-99-2000-01-02. National Coach 2002. Specializing in pairs, jumps, spins, choreography and

ballet, Member USFSA and PSA.

Eugene Heffron

Eugene has Master Rating in Figure, Freestyle, Dance and Free Dance. He has  Senior Rating in Pairs. He is a former World and Olympic Team member. Eugene is a former Board member of the Professional Skaters Association. He is a current Member of the United States Figure Skating Association Rules Committee. Eugene is a National, International, World and Olympic Coach. He has taught Gold Medallists in all disciplines of skating.

 


 

Shari Baker

Hailing from Chicago, Shari has been coaching figure skaters at the Quad City Sports Center for 10 years. Before moving to the Quad Cities she coached skaters in East Lansing, Michigan where she graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Communications. Shari has had skaters compete at USFSA Regionals and Adult Nationals and has coached students through the highest level of Moves-in-the-Field.  Shari is a member of US Figure Skating and is a PSA rated coach in three disciplines - Freestyle, Moves in the Field & Group instruction. She teaches private skating lessons to beginner through advanced level skaters. Shari specializes in jumps, spins, Moves-in-the-Field, Choreography, Off-ice training. Valerie Petcherski

From St. Petersburg, Russia

Valerie attended the Vaganovay ballet academy in St. Petersburg, and then joined the Mussorgski Ballet Company as a solo dancer. During his time as a dancer he also completed his ballet Masters course and went on to stage his first productions of Esmerelda and Preval Kavelesi, both famous Russian ballets. After finishing his dancing career, Valerie joined the Russian and Soviet national ice skating team as a choreographer/coach. During his eleven years with the team, his coaching produced an Olympic gold medalist in 1992, bronze medalists at the World Pairs Competition in 1988, and European Pairs champions in 1987 and 1989. Mr. Petcherski was also coach for  Andrei Bushkov and Marina Eltsova, gold medalists at the 1996 World Championships. Mr. Petcherski has choreographed numerous performances on ice including Carmen On Ice for the Wild Rose Ice Theatre in 1996, and Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Peter Pan, and The Nutcracker On Ice for the Russian Ice Stars. Mr. Petcherski has also worked with 2002 World Pairs Bronze Medallists Kyoko Ina and John Zimmerman, 2002 Olympic Pairs Champions Elena Berezhnaya and Anton Sikharulidze, and 2002 Olympic Women’s Champion Sarah Hughes.
