FSCQC: Events

Punch Cards: The River's Edge sells punch cards in 15 minute increments, $3 per 15 minutes or $12 per hour for freestyle ice. Check at the desk for details.

New Members: New and renewal memberships are still being taken for the 2011-2012 year (July 1- June 30). For more information on the FSCQC membership go to the Home page of FSCQC website for a downloadable membership packet. Forms for 2011-2012 year are posted. Club member renewals will be updated May for 2012-13 registrations or renewals. Contact Melinda Olson, FSCQC Membership chair if you have any questions.

Skaters are gearing up for the Spring competition season. Families, please make sure your skater is watchful of other skaters and utilize the scrunchies/sashes when running through programs.

Spring Show DVDs
Members can order DVDs for the Spring Show the day of the event. Order forms will also be posted on the club bulletin board They are $13.00 each.

Rainbo Sports - May 24th at The River's Edge

Club members should have received the alert via direct and club e-mails. Rainbo Sports representatives will be at The River's Edge in May 24th. Please contact store representatives in advance with your skating needs, including scheduling sharpenings.

Spring Show May 6, 2012 "Parade of Nations"

Parade of Nations in anticipation of the summer Olympics will be the theme for the spring show. We have confirmed Sunday, May 6th 2-4 pm for this year's program to be held at The River's Edge. Tickets on sale NOW at The River's Edge, check at the front desk. Dress rehearsal will occur on Friday, May 4th 6-8pm. Work with your respective coach on your program and any skate related questions you may have.

Quad City Championships

FSCQC member we are looking for volunteers to chair the various committees and will soon begin meeting on our competition! Susan Collins and Sue Schwaegler have volunteered for Registration Chairs. Mark your calendars for June 8-10, 2012. Volunteer positions posted on the website from last year's competition. Please let us know if you are interested in chairing a committee or helping with one. Clubwear Option
Mama Bahama's Tees & Sweats at Northpark Mall has a decal used by some of the skaters for tee shirts. The store has a limited selection of girls' shirts but customers are welcome to bring any long or short sleeved shirt to have the decal applied. Skaters who don't have club jackets yet may want a tee shirt to wear for the club photo with Todd Eldridge might be interested in this clubwear option. (See photo attached of decal on shirts).

FSCQC Current Events and Activities

Monthly Board Meetings: 3rd Mondays in 2012 at 6pm. This month is May 21, 2012 to be held at The River's Edge and will include the Annual Meeting of the Membership.

All members are welcome to attend. If you have something new to share with the board, concerns, show ideas, fundraising opportunitities, social event ideas, etc. please send Craig McCullough an e-mail or just come to the meeting.
